From Mark:

Everyone is doing well today after a well-needed rest.  After breakfast
(pancakes!) the students treated us to a sing-song of their choruses.  Now
we've divided up into work groups.  Linda has her group unpacking supplies
and getting things laid out for the work with the children that begins
tomorrow.  Kenny has the kitchen paint crew cleaning the walls.  Sam & Jason
are preparing the laundry room for painting.  Another group is sanding and
varnishing pieces for bunk beds.  Still another group is helping Freddie
pour some concrete steps to the top of the boys' dorm.  As for me, Dan & I
are getting ready to 'bug out' to Encinal, a village in the Mixa region
about 5 hrs. to the south.  I'll be preaching there over the weekend.  So,
all in all, everything is going well for the first day.
