We want each of you to feel at home and find a place with us regardless of age or stage of life. We want to encourage you to participate in the programs of Women of Grace and the church at large. In doing so, you will have further opportunity to grow in the knowledge and likeness of Christ, grow in spiritual maturity and live to please God.
Let us look expectantly to all that God is going to do in 2010, and let us come with seeking hearts, and behold more of Him and become more like Him.

Women of Grace FALL RETREAT
October 8th and 9th
Abiding in the Potter's Hand: Thoughts on Usefulnes and Beauty
We have been created for beauty and for usefulness, but an inside enemy battles against us as we aim to live for God's glory. We will discover ways to identify the flesh, then focus on how the Spirit of God has equipped us to overcome it as we abide in Him.
Carolyn Downs, a gifted retreat speaker, Bible teacher and prayer warrior is our guest speaker. Carolyn is a member of First Evengelical Church.
You are invited to join us at St. Columba Conference Center in Bartlett, TN
$40.00 for overnighters and $20.00 for all others.
Completed registration form and full payment is due to Laura Matlock on or before September 12th.
Pick up your registration form at the communication centers located in the church lobby and near the drinking fountain.

SUNDAY SCHOOL - Frankie Thomas
We discuss many aspects of a woman's life: her relationship with God, marriage or singleness, children, ministry, and true fellowship with one another. Considering Andrew Murray's book, "Abide in Christ", this study/discussion class is beneficial for any woman, at any stage of her life, desiring to learn the abiding life Jesus commanded in John 15 that we might please Him.
SUPER SATURDAYS - Vicki Welch
We meet approximately every other month. Join us for what is sure to be a nourishing and refreshing time in fellowship. Our topics and speakers will vary, so continue to check for updated information. Child Care is provided.
CARE MINISTRY - Lori Blanton
Women providing help and encouragement as needed to the sick, homebound, widows, bereaved and new moms.
COOKING MINISTRY - Laura Matlock
Prepare meals for families of the sick, new moms, and families of deceased family members. We are always building our supply of frozen casseroles to be available on demand, if you wish to contribute.
NURSERY MINISTRY - Sherry Knight
Rotate with others caring for our precious infants and toddlers.
ENCOURAGER'S MINISTRY - Ann Cody
Our goal is to encourage and appreciate the women in leadership roles at Grace Bible Church - especialy the wife of our Pastor. We find unique ways to say "thank you".
FALL RETREAT - Shari Massey
October 8th & 9th at St. Columba Conference Center, Bartlett, TN. Carolyn Downs will be our Special Guest Speaker.

Contact Frankie Thomas or Shari Massey if you are willing to fulfill the Women of Titus Two admonition by making yourself available to younger women; ears to hear, shoulder to cry on, hearts to pray, help with a child, counsel, mentor, anyway you can lighten the burdens for young mothers.
